Case study 01 · Founder & developer

VenelX.Vercel for mobile apps.

VenelX is a CI/CD platform for Expo and React Native teams. Connect a GitHub repo and every push becomes a signed iOS or Android build on M4 Apple Silicon workers, with over-the-air updates for JS-only changes, flat monthly pricing instead of per-minute billing, and an MCP server so Claude and Cursor can trigger builds and read logs from the editor.

The problem

Shipping a React Native app still means a Mac under someone's desk, hand-rolled fastlane scripts, expiring certificates and a release process only one person understands.

Hosted mobile CI is slow and priced per minute on shared, virtualised macOS runners, and none of it is reachable from the AI tools developers now live in.

What I built

VenelX gives mobile teams the push-to-deploy experience web teams take for granted. Builds run on M4 Mac Minis I own, or on the customer's own machines with self-hosted workers, so they run on bare metal with warm caches instead of a cold VM.

  • 01

    GitHub-connected pipelines

Connect a repo and every push, PR or tag becomes a signed, installable build with logs streamed live to the dashboard.

  • 02

    OTA updates

JavaScript-only changes ship as over-the-air updates in minutes, without a store review.

  • 03

MCP server for Claude & Cursor

Builds, logs and releases are exposed as MCP tools, so an AI assistant can kick off a build, read a failure and propose the fix.

  • 04

    Self-hosted workers & flat pricing

Teams can register their own Apple Silicon machines as workers and pay a flat monthly price instead of per build minute.
