AyuApp.UPI for healthcare.
After winning prizes at the Accel India event and an Anthropic-run event, a college friend and I turned our app idea into a full-time startup. I joined AyuApp Pvt Ltd as Full-Stack Tech Lead and have built the platform from inception: React Native apps for patients and pharmacies, a Next.js doctor dashboard, AI medical-record digitisation, and Ayu, a multi-tenant voice AI receptionist that answers clinic calls and books appointments in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

The problem
Clinics miss calls and bookings all day, in a market where patients speak five different languages. Patients, doctors and pharmacies each needed their own app on top of the same records, everything had to update in real time, and the whole thing had to pass App Store review for AI-privacy consent.
What I built
One Fastify backend API serves the patient app, the pharmacy app, the doctor dashboard and the voice agent, with tenant isolation for every clinic and WebSocket updates so an order or booking shows up everywhere at once.

Patient app (React Native)
Manage medical records, connect with doctors and order medicines from nearby pharmacies, with OCR digitisation and AI health insights. Published on the App Store and Google Play from day one, with RevenueCat subscriptions, push notifications and PostHog analytics.

Doctor dashboard (Next.js)
Patient details, appointments, records and consultations, synced in real time over WebSocket.

Pharmacy app & prescription ordering
A separate React Native app for pharmacies to accept orders, manage inventory and coordinate delivery; prescriptions are matched to stock and routed to the nearest pharmacy by geolocation.

Ayu voice AI receptionist
Multi-tenant voice agent on Plivo telephony and Gemini Live that answers calls and books appointments in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, with Mem0 caller memory and Langfuse-managed prompts.

Backend API
Fastify on MongoDB and GCP connecting every client: auth, bookings, records, orders, subscriptions and analytics. Cleared App Store review on AI-privacy consent.
