Petgram - Connecting Pet Lovers
Petgram was a startup project focused on creating a platform for pet lovers to connect with their pets and book appointments with veterinarians. While the team wasn't strong enough to achieve the success we hoped for, this experience taught me valuable lessons about startup dynamics, team collaboration, and the importance of having the right team composition.
Despite the challenges, I contributed significantly to building the platform's core features and learned important lessons about what it takes to build a successful startup.
Features Implemented
User Authentication
Implemented secure user authentication system allowing pet owners to create accounts and manage their profiles with their pet information.
E-commerce Functionality
Built e-commerce features for pet owners to purchase pet supplies, food, and accessories directly through the platform.
Appointment Booking
Developed appointment booking system for pet owners to schedule visits with veterinarians, including calendar integration and availability management.
Admin Dashboard
Created comprehensive admin dashboard for managing users, appointments, products, and platform analytics.
Learning & Growth
While Petgram didn't achieve the success we aimed for, this experience was invaluable in teaching me about the realities of startup life. I learned that having a great idea isn't enough - you need a strong, committed team with complementary skills.
This experience helped me understand the importance of team dynamics, clear communication, and having the right people in the right roles. It also reinforced my belief in moving forward when something isn't working, which led me to join Daply and eventually join AyuApp as a Full Stack Developer.
